Engineering Sub Agent, Civil Engineering

Boyd Recruitment are currently recruiting a Sub Agent on a permanent basis for a well-established civil engineering contractor based in Glasgow.

Our client delivers a diverse portfolio of civil engineering projects with contract values ranging from £4m to £10m, offering long-term project stability and career progression.

This role is ideal for an experienced construction professional seeking a secure, long-term position with a reputable contractor and a strong pipeline of work.

• Manage day-to-day site operations

• Maintain high standards of quality assurance (QA) and control

• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations

• Plan and organise site activities efficiently

• Manage subcontractors and foster strong, collaborative working relationships

• Proven experience in a Sub Agent or Section Engineer role (or similar)

• Engineering background (civil engineering preferred)

• Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
