Safely move Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicles in Thurrock while coordinating dealership yard operations and maintaining clear vehicle records. Customer contact is central.
SAGA Truck & Van seeks a driver responsible for vehicle movement, control, and coordination across its Mercedes-Benz dealership. The work supports workshop flow through accurate positioning, check-ins, check-outs, and vehicle availability. You will liaise with Service Reception, Workshop Controllers, Technicians, customers, and other departments.
Key Responsibilities:- Manoeuvre commercial vehicles around dealership, yard, and workshop areas
- Complete vehicle and trailer safety checks
- Sign vehicles in and out accurately
- Collect and return customer vehicles for authorised tests
- Coordinate parking, storage, and vehicle movements
- Licence with no more than six points
- No DR10 endorsements on your licence
- Understanding of driving laws and regulations
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Customer-focused approach and initiative
