ROAD WARRIOR Inc. manufactures a wide range of diesel particulate filters (DPFs) and diesel oxidation catalysts (DOCs) for model year 2007 and newer medium duty trucks, buses and heavy-duty class 8 diesel trucks. ROAD WARRIOR is an affiliate company of DCL International Inc., a leading North American manufacturer of emission control systems in business for over 35 years.
Our Ideal Candidate
We are a fast-paced, highly motivated team of individuals, looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our growing team. We pride ourselves on our customer service – we strive to provide customers with their orders when they need them, with parts in stock and available for same day shipment from one of our twelve convenient warehouses. Therefore, the ideal candidate in this role has a strong customer service orientation, can manage competing priorities and has a strong attention to detail.

Position Responsibilities- Communicates with customers via phone and e-mail to place orders, ensuring orders are correct and all required information to process orders received.
- Enters sales orders into order fulfillment system, ensuring order information given to necessary parties, and that details are correct and communicated effectively.
- Provides acknowledgements to customers, verifying all shipping information and dates to ensure timely delivery.
- Liaises with warehouse department to provide order information and schedule deliveries.
- Provides clarifications and answers for customer’s questions regarding order status and issues.
- Assists in resolving product or service problems by clarifying the customer’s complaint; identifies and escalates customer complaints when needed.
- Prepares product or service reports by collecting and analyzing customer information.
- Maintains customer records and files by updating account information; responsible for entering all new customer information into the system
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed
- Additional administrative duties to support production, warehouse and inventory management may be required as assigned by management
- College or University degree, or relevant work experience, with preference given to those with a manufacturing industry background.
- 3 years in similar customer focused positions.
- Self-motivated and ability to work as part of a team with the capability to prioritize and make decisions.
- Strong service orientation; ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with customers.
- Proficiency with MS Office , strong keyboarding skills and other computer programs required.
- Highly organized, with a high level of accuracy and thoroughness.
- Ability to communicate effectively to all levels of internal and external contacts both verbally and in writing.
- French or Spanish language skills considered an asset.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience using an e-commerce platform considered an asset.
- Able to work under pressure, multi-task and prioritize work based on competing deadlines.
