Our client in the automotive industry is seeking a Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineer
- Building & Infrastructure to join their team. As a Civil Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting the first of three large industrial manufacturing plants being built in Alliston, ON! In this groundbreaking project, you will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of site civil, structural, and architectural works. You will directly contribute to our client's commitment to environmental responsibility and technological advancement!

Provide/review design direction for structural steel, concrete mezzanine, slab on grade and foundations of industrial buildingsCoordinating and communicating with stakeholdersManaging project schedules, and providing updates to senior managementReviewing and approving design drawingsCreating concept designs, and developing specifications for equipment and buildingsConduct field checks, ensuring quality construction, and coordinating across multiple disciplinesManage project deliverables, providing on-site support, and offering design guidance in architectural, structural, and civil aspects of industrial buildingsWhat's Needed?
University Degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural EngineeringPEng or EITMinimum of 5+ years’ experience in Industrial building designDemonstrated involvement in large-scale project managementSolid understanding of Building codes and technical specsExperience with building Architectural design and reviewsExperience with Site Civil design for roads, stormwater management and underground utilities.Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT or similar software:
Demonstrate ability to create new concepts and modify existing designsSpec writing and developmentExperience in supervising and managing project teamsExperience in managing and developing diverse teamsNew technology relating to Carbon Neutral Initiatives (preferred)Experience with Green Building Standards for Industrial Buildings (preferred)Willing and able to travel internationally and to the USWhat's in it for me?
