Full-Time | Hybrid Role | Sales & Engineering Focus

Swagelok Southeast Texas is seeking a dynamic and technically driven Sales Engineer to join our Technical Sales team. This hybrid role blends engineering knowledge with solution-based sales strategy to drive business development and support customers across key accounts.

What You’ll Do:
  • Develop and manage targeted assembly solutions for key accounts.
  • Support Swagelok product sales directly and through collaboration with other members of the sales team.
  • Lead pre-sale engineering efforts: quoting, estimating, customer communication, and technical solution development.
  • Conduct Evaluations and Audit Services to identify needs and recommend Swagelok solutions.
  • Partner with Project Managers to develop accurate and detailed custom proposals.
  • Engage with customers for technical consultations, FAT visits, and post-sale follow-up.
  • Promote a culture of teamwork, trust, and collaboration across departments.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering required;
    Mechanical Engineering strongly preferred.
    At least 4 years of experience in a technical, application-based selling role.
  • Solid understanding of fluid system components and applied engineering principles.
  • Proven experience working with customers in technical environments—problem-solving, quoting, and negotiating.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple priorities, think strategically, and lead cross-functional coordination.
Skills That Set You Apart:
  • Strategic thinker with strong interpersonal and influence skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
  • Work Environment:
    Office and occasional factory/shop visits.
  • Travel:
    Up to 10% outside of the service area.
