Based in
Huntsville, ON, the
Civil Engineering Technician will have a wide range of duties assisting in all aspects of Engineering project delivery, with a focus on Civil and Water Resources Engineering. This position runs from May-August 2026.
What You’ll Do:As part of the TULLOCH Engineering team, you will:
Assist with preparation of plans, proposals, specifications, supporting documents, reports, and permit applicationsSupport stormwater management design and other aspects of Water Resources management projectsWork in a team to develop Site Plan preparation documents including site services, grading, drainage, and stormwater managementAssist with civil engineering design for municipal infrastructureWork in a team on Subdivision development projectsSupport construction inspections on various projectsWho You Are:You are willing to travel for site inspections and fieldwork on occasionYou can pivot and alter approach to accomplish desired resultsYou are not afraid to raise your hand when you need help or guidanceYou are trusted with the freedom to work independently while contributing to overall team successWhat You Should Bring:The ideal candidate will be enrolled in a relevant field of study (Civil Engineering, Water Resources). Additionally, you should have:
Knowledge of AutoCAD is considered an assetKnowledge of Ott Hymo, MIDUSS, Rational Method, etc., is considered an assetExperience in the use of Total Station and GPS Survey Equipment is considered an assetHigh motivation with results-oriented focusSuperior organizational and multi-tasking skillsStrong interpersonal and critical thinking skillsExcellent communication skills (oral and written)Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Valid Class G driver’s licenceWhat We Offer You:TULLOCH has built a passionate workforce with a strong and vibrant culture which has been the key to our success.
