- Working closely with Project Managers to provide drafting and design work for Land Development projects including grading, stormwater management, water, sanitary and storm servicing designs.
- Undertake project designs, specifications, and contract documents at a Project Manager’s direction.
- Prepare drawings for submission, as well as provide draft engineering calculations, as‑built drawings, etc.
- Ensure drawings meet specifications provided.
- Assist in obtaining all necessary approvals and permits for projects, including those from municipalities, provincial and federal government agencies.
- Provide general engineering support during construction and maintenance phases of projects, including liaising with internal Field Services team as needed.
- Attend staff, client and project meetings as required.
- Must have successfully completed either a degree or diploma at an accredited college or university in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology.
- Must have at least 5–10 years of practical experience.
- Strong Civil 3D experience preferred.
- Highly experienced in the use of computer‑aided design/drafting software including AutoCAD.
- Proficient with MS Office.
- Strong people skills, able to work with a wide variety of staff and clients, and capable of mentoring and training junior staff.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multi‑task, well‑organized and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Construction field experience preferred.
- Any experience in the engineering, consulting or construction industry is preferred.

Salary RangeThe salary range for this role is between $65,000 and $90,000, with the actual compensation package based on factors such as skill set, depth of experience, certifications and specific work location.
