We’re looking for an Industrial Millwright for our plant in Barrie, ON. You will play a key role in supporting production and leading maintenance programs in our Maintenance Team. This role involves installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated systems.
JOB SUMMARY:- Starting date: As soon as possible
- Number of positions to fill: 1
- Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
- Location: 333 Bayview Drive, Barrie, ON.
- Work Schedule: Afternoons Shift (4:00pm– 3:15am) Occasional overtime and weekend work
- Work conditions: Physical demands include standing, lifting, and working in confined spaces

- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on:
- Stamping presses
- Polyurethane foam injection systems
- Conveyor systems
- Torsion spring manufacturing equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical components including:
- Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Gearboxes, bearings, chains, and belts
- Work with PLC-controlled equipment and HMI interfaces to diagnose and resolve automation issues
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve equipment reliability and up time
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and parts usage
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Support the Chemical delivery upload when required
- Valid Millwright (433A) Certificate of Qualification in Ontario through the Apprenticeship program
- Minimum 3rd year Apprentice working towards (433A) Certificate with experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automation
- Experience with PLCs and HMIs (Allen-Bradley preferred)
- Forklift/Overhead crane/Elevated work platform experience
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment
