Our client, an industry leader in regulated manufacturing, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Manager to join their team. As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting the organization’s commitment to excellence and compliance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, analytical thinking, and effective communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager
Location: Stayner, ON
Pay Range: $41.81 - $44.71 / per hour
Shift: 7:30am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
What's the Job?
- Ensure compliance with the Company’s SOPs, Health Canada, U.S. FDA regulations, and other governing bodies.
- Manage global records and oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of the electronic Quality Management System (eQMS) - Trackwise.
- Establish and maintain relationships with customer QA teams to address quality issues effectively.
- Conduct investigations and material review assessments to resolve complaints and deviations.
- Lead regulatory inspections and customer audits, ensuring readiness and compliance.
What's Needed?
- 3-5 years of experience in a related position within a regulated industry such as Health Canada or US FDA.
- Post-secondary education in a related field, preferably a Bachelor of Science degree or higher.
- Experience interacting with health regulatory agencies and knowledge of relevant regulations including Health Canada Cannabis Regulations, US FDA GMP, and EU GMP.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Access, SharePoint, Visio, and Excel; experience with Trackwise and SAP is an asset.
- Strong problem-solving, project management, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
