On Call Security Guard - Alliston​/Simcoe

Job Summary

At Securiguard your hard work is recognized and rewarded! We are currently seeking to hire and place a Part Time/On-Call security guard at one of our sites in Alliston, Ontario
. The candidate must be able to commit to commuting to the job site in Alliston.

• Part-time / On-call position based on applicant availability; no guaranteed hours per week.
• Potential to transition to a full-time position as available.
• Available days: afternoons, nights, weekends.

• Conduct foot patrols and physically check gate security as required.
• Perform CTPAT inspections on inbound/outbound trucks.
• Support the gatehouse during rush hour periods.
• Openups, lockups, equipment checks as required.
• Deploy mobile patrol, collect parking pylons; must lift 25 lbs into vehicle.
• Check paperwork and identification of drivers coming into the site.
• Inspect under incoming trucks per Standard Operating Procedures.
• Act as fire or medical emergency first responder per Standard Operating Procedures.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures for incident reporting.
• Maintain excellent standards of customer care while patrolling and investigating.
• Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property.

• Valid Security Guard Licence.
• Valid Ontario Driver's Licence.
• Valid First Aid / CPR certificate.
• Ability to stand, sit, walk for extended periods.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to complete daily logs and write detailed reports.
• Basic computer skills.
• Own transportation to and from work location.

Salary: $18.50 per hour.
