Uniform Security Guard Simcoe

Overview

Securiguard Services is looking for experienced security guards for our various sites across Barrie and/or Simcoe Region

At Securiguard our mission is to make people feel safe. As a security professional, you'll contribute to the safety to our stakeholders by enforcing provincial and municipal regulations, enforcing policies and procedures, monitoring CCTV systems and operating security control room equipment, controlling access to the site, reporting any hazards or security breaches, and responding to incidents.

• Enforce provincial and municipal regulations, policies and procedures
• Monitor CCTV systems and operate security control room equipment
• Control access to the site
• Report hazards or security breaches and respond to incidents

• At least 6 months/1 year of security experience and/or a diploma in the field of security or law enforcement
• Valid Ontario Security License
• Standard First Aid & Level C CPR with AED
• Valid Class G Driver's License with clean driving record is an asset
• Excellent communication skills
• Comfort with two-way radio communication
• Approaches a situation with a listening mindset and empathy
• Capable of standing and walking for a duration of up to 8/10/12 hours
• Ability to problem solve, and use discretion and good judgement
• Use of force training is an asset

Pay rate: $18 - $19
