Uniform Security Guard Simcoe

Overview

Securiguard Services is looking for experienced security guards for our various sites across Barrie and/or Simcoe Region. At Securiguard our mission is to make people feel safe. As a security professional, you'll contribute to the safety of our stakeholders by enforcing provincial and municipal regulations, enforcing policies and procedures, monitoring CCTV systems and operating security control room equipment, controlling access to the site, reporting hazards or security breaches, and responding to incidents.

• Enforce provincial and municipal regulations and site policies and procedures.
• Monitor CCTV systems and operate security control room equipment.
• Control access to the site and report hazards or security breaches.
• Respond to incidents in a timely and professional manner.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure overall site safety.

• At least 6 months to 1 year of security experience and/or a diploma in security or law enforcement.
• Valid Ontario Security License.
• Standard First Aid & Level C CPR with AED.
• Valid Class G Driver's License with a clean driving record is an asset.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Comfort with two-way radio communication.
• Approaches situations with listening, empathy and sound judgement.
• Capable of standing and walking for extended periods (up to 8–12 hours).
• Ability to problem solve and use discretion and good judgement.
• Use of force training is an asset.
