Earn $26.00/hr while securing a low-stress warehouse site on a short-term contract in Owen Sound! We’re hiring immediately for temporary coverage, making this the perfect opportunity to pick up extra income with steady hours and straightforward duties.

About the Role:

We are seeking reliable and professional Security Guards to provide temporary (contract-based) coverage at our warehouse facility. This is a short-term assignment ideal for someone with prior security experience who can step in quickly and maintain a safe, secure environment throughout the holiday and post-holiday period.

Location:
Owen Sound

Schedule & Compensation:

  • Temporary contract:
    December 17, 2025 to January 28, 2026, with the possibility of continuing with Garda World as a casual guard after the coverage period ends.
  • Full-time/Part-time or shift-based scheduling (details discussed during interview)
  • Competitive hourly pay - $26.00/hour

    • Responsibilities for Security Guard

  • Previous security guard experience preferred
  • Valid security guard license/certification (as required by local regulations)
  • Ability to remain alert, professional, and courteous at all times
  • Strong communication and reporting skills
  • Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
  • Availability to work the full contract period (Dec 17 - Jan 28), including weekends or holidays as needed
  • Must be able to start immediately

    • Qualifications for Security Guard

  • Previous security guard experience preferred
  • Valid security guard license/certification (as required by local regulations)
  • Valid First Aid & CPR certificate required
  • Ability to remain alert, professional, and courteous at all times
  • Strong communication and reporting skills
  • Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
  • Availability to work the full contract period (Dec 17–Jan 28), including weekends or holidays as needed
  • Must be able to start immediately
  • Must be authorized to work in Canada
