We are looking for a motivated individual who loves to work outdoors to join our professional team as a Yard Coordinator / Driver at our Bracebridge, ON branch.

What You’ll Be Doing

Duties and Responsibilities:

Load and unload, equipment; safely secure loaded equipment per company procedure and inspect in transit, if necessary

Perform pre-delivery inspections

Maintain accurate delivery and pickup records and obtain signature authorization

Communicate to branch any difficulties or delays with deliveries or pickups

Advise management of new sales opportunities and job sites

Double check delivered items to ensure order accuracy

Instruct customers on equipment operation

Tag and move broken equipment to repair area

Wash/Clean equipment

Organize equipment in the yard and maintain clean physical facilities

Willingness to offer a helping hand to co-workers

What You’ll Bring to the Team
Qualifications and Requirements:

Valid G Driver’s license with a clean or satisfactory driver’s abstract (no more than three demerit points). You will be required to provide a copy of your updated driver’s abstract upon request

Familiar with the local roads

Self-starter, very customer-service oriented and works well in a team environment

Thrives in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines

Comfortable with computers

Must be able to lift up to approximately 50 lbs. (job aids available for certain types of equipment – confirm with HM if this is the case)

Forklift license preferred

Mechanical aptitude is an asset

Must be comfortable working outdoors

Excellent problem-solving skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to converse with colleagues, customers, and other parties in a professional and courteous manner
