Side Loader Driver – Matt Martin Photography

Join our energetic and established team at Arbor Forest! This secure, permanent role offers a stable earning opportunity and a chance to grow within our growing company.

Salary: £13.10 - £14.10 per hour

Position: Full‑time | Permanent from Day One

Working hours: Monday–Friday (Rotating shifts: 06:00‑14:00 / 14:00‑22:00 / 22:00‑06:00)

Schedule: Overtime available.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Feed packs onto the line, de‑skidded and un‑banded, ready for use.
  • Remove produce from the line and stack it in allocated space.
  • Stack packs to keep skids uniform and stacks safe.
  • Unload and record raw MDF products and general deliveries.
  • Ensure stock rotation of raw and finished products.
  • Create room before production runs, liaising with the Yard Manager and finished‑products supervisor.
  • Organise MDF drivers with respect to work and stock movements.
  • Load and unload Paint IBCs.
  • Remove waste IBCs.
  • Lay out IBCs for vacuum tanker collection.
  • Report maintenance issues via the T‑Cards system.
  • Conduct daily service checks/work according to the service schedules of the side loader/FLT.
  • Perform weekly checks of service sheets of MDF side loader/FLT.
  • Report machine defects to office personnel.
  • Carry all work out in line with current risk assessments and S.O.Ps.
What We’re Looking For
  • C2 Side Loader licence (preferred).
  • Counterbalance or Reach Truck experience (ideal).
  • Full UK driving licence (site location essential).
  • Confidence, motivation & a positive attitude.
  • Energetic and flexible team member.
  • Proactive and can‑do attitude.
  • Sense of responsibility.
  • Ability to build good working relationships.
