Production Operatives (Temporary 6 Month Contract)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, rotating shifts – 06:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00

Arbor Forest Products Ltd is currently seeking Production Operatives to join our team on a temporary 6-month basis. This role involves working on a rotating two-shift pattern within a fast‑paced production environment.

• Under instruction of the Machinist and Shift Supervisor.
• Ticketing and processing customer orders.
• Skidding and stacking packs.
• Daily housekeeping duties.
• Operating in‑house machinery, including shrink‑wrap machines and forklift truck (FLT) – if trained.
• Reporting maintenance and quality issues as required.
• Ensuring all work is carried out in line with current risk assessments and SOPs.
• Supporting machinery operation during busy periods, including overtime when required.
• Providing holiday and sickness cover when necessary.

During peak periods, flexibility may be required, including changes to shift patterns and potential night shift work.

• Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment (desirable).
• Forklift or counterbalance licence (desirable).
• Basic numeracy and English skills.
• In‑house machine training will be provided.
