Avionics Engineer – Jet Aviation

Location:

Basel, Switzerland. Flexible work arrangement: onsite.

We’re looking for a licensed Avionics Engineer who’s hands‑on, safety‑minded, and takes pride in doing the job right.

Responsibilities
  • Execute, supervise, and check maintenance tasks within your license scope, ensuring every job is done right the first time.
  • Deliver precise, high‑quality work, log every detail in SAP, and meet deadlines with pride and consistency.
  • Follow all safety rules, EHS standards, and company procedures to protect yourself, your team, and the workplace.
  • Keep job cards, time sheets, and communications updated daily to stay organized.
  • Spot issues early, report defects, and raise hazard or proactive reports to keep operations running smoothly.
  • Collaborate closely with team leads, supervisors, and project teams to achieve the best results together.
  • Support colleagues, lend a hand when needed, and step up to take on extra tasks that help the team succeed.

Your Profile
  • EASA Part‑66 B2 licensed engineer with at least one type rating on Dassault Falcon or Gulfstream aircraft.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Aircraft Avionics Technician.
  • Technical diploma (associate degree or 3‑year technical education).
  • Experience with Cabin IFE/CMS and communication systems is a strong advantage.
  • Solid knowledge of avionics systems and aircraft maintenance documentation.
  • Understanding of EASA regulations, aviation authority standards, and release processes.
  • Proficient in SAP ERP or similar systems, and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Good technical English (written/spoken); capable of interpreting AMMs.
  • Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
