Packaging Engineer

To strengthen our team in Switzerland, we are looking for Packaging Engineer.

In this function, you will be responsible to support the development and maintenance of drug delivery devices (Auto-injectors, Pre-filled Syringes, etc.) and drug packaging.

• Development of primary and secondary packaging for the pharmaceutical industry
• Preparation of reports on primary packaging materials / processes
• Ensuring regulatory compliance in accordance with external and internal regulatory requirements and quality standards
• Support and coordinate the production and delivery of packaging materials
• Support of packaging tests
• Participation in the packaging lines qualification (e.g. blister production, filling, bag, stick pack filling systems)
• Support of risk management

• Master or phD degree in packaging technology or packaging engineering, materials science, mechanical engineering, chemistry or equivalent
• Good knowledge of pharmaceutical development
• First experience in the development and documentation of primary packaging, including GMP, QA and design control aspects.
• First experience in packaging process validation and packaging testing
• Fluent English and German
