Process Engineering Project Manager (M/F/D)
In this role, you will be responsible for cross‑departmental projects in the areas of process validation, technology transfer, and continuous improvement in a GMP‑regulated environment. You will combine technical implementation with strategic project management and ensure that processes meet quality, efficiency, and compliance requirements throughout their entire lifecycle.
Tasks- Management and control of projects in the areas of process validation, technology transfer, and scale‑up
- Responsibility for project planning, timelines, budget, and resources in compliance with regulatory and business objectives
- Application of operational excellence and project management methods (Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, PMP) to increase process performance and production efficiency
- Working closely with R&D, production, QA, and QC to ensure smooth project execution and effective knowledge transfer
- Creating and evaluating process data, reports, and risk assessments to support informed decisions.
- Serving as the main point of contact for audits, inspections, and internal coordination—for both technical and project‑related issues
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within validation and production processes
- Degree in pharmaceutical sciences, process engineering, biotechnology, or a comparable field
- Professional experience in project management in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry; knowledge of validation or bioprocessing is an advantage
- Certification or practical experience with PMP, Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile methods is desirable
- Analytical and solution‑oriented mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable measures
- Strong communication skills, organizational skills, and a strong team spirit
- Good knowledge of GMP regulations and relevant industry standards
