If you want to develop your skills in consulting, data science, digital tools and infrastructure asset management – and are excited by the opportunity to work on projects and trainee activities across Europe – we invite you to join us as a Junior Consultant Asset Management Systems (80‑100%) – Zurich / Basel.

• Support modelling and analytics tasks, including Python development for simulations, forecasting tools, data pipelines and visualisations; participate in research, data processing and method documentation.
• Assist in preparing clear, well‑structured client presentations and deliverables for infrastructure managers across Europe.
• Contribute to implementation and testing activities for our asset‑management software suite.
• Support market and sector analysis to identify trends across rail, energy and critical infrastructure in Europe for proposal preparation.
• Join client workshops, internal knowledge sessions and cross‑disciplinary teamwork.

• University degree in engineering, applied mathematics, data science, physics or a related discipline – or comparable proven experience. Further structured experience in asset management or technical competence is advantageous.
• Interest in developing advanced Python skills and learning to build analytical tools, data pipelines and simulations; initial experience or strong academic grounding in modelling, analytics, infrastructure, asset management or related quantitative areas.
• Curiosity about infrastructure systems – rail, energy, utilities or other critical infrastructure – and how they are maintained, renewed and operated.
• Understanding or interest in asset‑management frameworks (ISO 55000) and lifecycle‑based planning.
• Ability to communicate analytical findings in a clear and structured manner.
• Motivation to learn consulting skills, participate in client meetings and work in multidisciplinary teams.
• Fluent German and English skills; other languages are an advantage.
• Open, reliable, proactive mindset; willingness to develop quickly and travel occasionally for European project work or trainee events.
