As an SAP Senior Developer, you will design, build, and maintain high-quality SAP solutions across the classical ABAP stack and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). You’ll play a key role in enabling a clean core strategy, delivering future‑proof extensions, and shaping development standards that scale with the business. You’ll collaborate closely with functional teams, architects, and external partners to ensure solutions are robust, performant, and aligned with SAP best practices.

• Deliver High‑Quality SAP Developments:
  Implement the programming components of change requests in line with internal development guidelines and SAP best practices, while ensuring clear, complete, and up‑to‑date technical documentation.
• Ensure Stability and Performance:
  Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve program malfunctions and performance issues, and propose effective, sustainable solutions in close collaboration with the Development Team Lead and Business Analysts.
• Strengthen Standards and Clean Core Practices:
  Support the Development Team Lead in evolving internal procedures, development standards, and best practices, with a strong focus on clean core principles.
• Assure Quality of External Deliverables:
  Review and evaluate developments delivered by subcontractors or external partners to ensure full compliance with internal standards and SAP best practices.
• Support SAP Operations:
  Contribute to SAP Basis activities, including transport management, system upgrade preparations, and background job monitoring, to ensure smooth system operations.
• Drive SAP BTP Adoption:
  Leverage SAP BTP as a platform for custom development, including citizen development and side‑by‑side extensions, and actively support and advise colleagues on its effective use.
• Shape API and Integration Strategy:
  Develop and maintain best practices for API development and actively contribute to defining the migration strategy toward SAP BTP Integration Suite.

• Degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience
• 5+ years hands on experience in the SAP development area (classical ABAP and BTP platform, CDS views)
• Understanding of the BTP architecture and ability to perform the related configuration/administration
• High level understanding of the SAP processes in the areas MM/PM/FI and ideally MRO
• Experience in the SAP operation management area (exceptions, performance monitoring) in the context of an externally managed system
• Knowledge of the SAP add‑on for MRO
• Familiarity with the development of side‑by‑side applications
• Experience mentoring developers or contributing to project and team leadership
• Strong analytical mindset with a passion for learning and new technologies
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• High standards for quality, performance, and maintainable solutions
