- You will manufacture individual devices and entire systems and plants for pharmaceutical production from metal profiles such as pipes, sheets, or beams, assemble and commission them.
- You will perform maintenance and repairs on pharmaceutical production equipment.
- You will create technical drawings, read system diagrams, and interpret them.
- Independently or within a team of specialists, you will plan, execute, and evaluate work.
- You will work on conventional and computer-controlled machines, e.g., saws, presses, drilling machines, bending presses, or pipe bending machines.
- You will assemble components using screw connections or welding, gluing, and riveting methods.
If you have already been involved in manual work and have even created something from metal, that's great!
If you've failed once, gotten back up, and kept going, perfect!
If you want to expand your knowledge and skills in craftsmanship and in the areas of systems and devices, then we should get to know each other!
What you should bring:
- You enjoy manual work and have dexterous hands for practical work with materials made of metal.
- You are not intimidated by working with large machines.
- You like working in a team, actively participate in discussions, and enjoy finding creative solutions, but can also work independently and focused.
- Accurate, reliable, and responsible work are among your strengths.
- You have good performance in mathematics.
- You have at least a secondary school level (Sek E, Sek AG, Mittlere Reife or higher).
- German: native speaker or level B2.
- You work in an international environment and gain first-class insights into the company and professional life.
- You attend a practical-oriented factory school.
- You work with state-of-the-art systems, equipment, and future-oriented facilities.
- We continue to support you after your training, and various further training opportunities are available to you.
- You have the opportunity to get a room in the Roche residential house in Basel.
