For our client, a specialized pharmaceutical company in the Basel region focused on innovative drug development and formulation technologies, we are seeking a motivated Formulation Development Laboratory Technician (m/w/d). • Execute formulation development projects for solid, liquid, and semi‑solid pharmaceutical dosage forms (oral, topical) in alignment with project timelines and departmental objectives
• Perform analytical testing including particle size analysis (Nano & Cam Sizer), microscopy, rheological assessments, thermal analysis (DSC), water activity measurements, and dissolution/disintegration testing
• Prepare comprehensive technical documentation
  , including formulation reports and manufacturing batch records for development processes
• Support scale‑up activities and technology transfer of formulations from laboratory to production scale
• Develop and maintain laboratory documentation such as work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and calibration protocols
• Ensure equipment functionality through regular maintenance and proper handling of laboratory instruments
• Maintain laboratory standards by following established safety protocols, ensuring cleanliness, proper labeling, and safe handling of active pharmaceutical ingredients
• Collaborate effectively within a small, dedicated team environment and contribute innovative ideas to laboratory operations

• Completed vocational training (Ausbildung) as Laboratory Technician, Chemical Technician, or similar pharmaceutical/chemical qualification (no university degree)
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in galenic/pharmaceutical formulation development, particularly with solid dosage forms and granulation processes
• Practical expertise with analytical techniques such as particle sizing, dissolution testing, DSC, and rheology
• Conversational German skills for daily team communication; fluent English for documentation and technical reporting
• Valid driver's license (occasional travel to satellite locations required)
• Team‑oriented personality with collaborative mindset – you thrive in small, close‑knit teams and value open communication
