My client is a fast-paced manufacturing company supplying the Point of Sale (POS) industry, working with many leading brands. Our team is growing, and we are looking for a talented individual to join our design department.

Role Overview

As part of the POS design team, you will be responsible for creating innovative and practical designs for retail display solutions. This is a hands‑on role requiring technical expertise, creativity, and the ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop POS solutions using Solid Works CAD software and Adobe Suite
  .
• Prepare and set up artwork for production, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Work with materials including wood, metal, and plastics
  , understanding their properties and manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet tight deadlines in a fast‑changing retail environment.
• Ensure designs are practical, cost‑effective, and aligned with client requirements.

Requirements

• Degree or apprenticeship in Design, Engineering, Product Design
  , or a related field (preferred).
• Strong understanding of woodwork, metalwork, and plastics
  .
• Proficiency in Solid Works CAD and Adobe Suite
  .
• Experience or knowledge of art working and setting up artwork files
  .
• Ability to work reactively and manage multiple projects under tight lead times.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
