Our 12‑month Graduate Programme gives you the opportunity to work on exciting and challenging projects alongside subject‑matter experts.
On joining, you will receive a starting salary of £34,000 per annum, plus a £1,000 welcome bonus. You’ll also be eligible for a £1,000 exit bonus upon successful completion of the programme and may qualify for a Temporary Accommodation Allowance (TAA) subject to specific criteria.
We encourage you to spend at least three days each week on site to integrate with your team and maximise your learning experience.
During the programme, you will- Report to the Lead Supportability Engineer and be responsible for comprehending and delivering a wide range of Supportability Engineering tasks to meet the needs of Integrated Project Teams.
- Assist in the analysis, preparation and delivery of Supportability Engineering activities with the main focus being Supportability Analysis.
- Support a variety of projects within the Leonardo company product portfolio across the Luton office.
- Contribute to a culture of best practice sharing, turning requirements into supportable solutions.
- Receive training and mentoring required to supervise team members and take ownership of work packages; plan and schedule your own and others’ work.
All of our roles require (a) a minimum of a 2 + Bachelors/Integrated Master’s degree, or (b) a higher degree, such as an MSc or PhD. For the Graduate Supportability Engineer role, acceptable degrees include:
- Aerospace Engineering
- Physics
- Mathematical Sciences
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical and Electronic Engineering
Other degrees will be considered.
Security ClearanceThis role is subject to pre‑employment screening in line with the UK Government’s Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). Additional security controls such as National Security Vetting (NSV) may apply, including The Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV).
