Finance Manager

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to join a growing, private equity-backed service business. This role is central to ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, with a primary focus on technical accounting and compliance with UK GAAP, FRS standards, and IFRS. As the business scales, you will play a key role in strengthening financial controls and delivering high-quality reporting to senior stakeholders and investors.

Key Responsibilities:

Full ownership of the month-end close process, including preparation and review of management accounts
Ensure compliance with UK GAAP, FRS 102, and IFRS standards across all reporting
Preparation of statutory accounts and coordination with external auditors
Maintain and enhance internal financial controls and processes
Provide technical accounting guidance and support across the business
Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting to senior leadership and private equity investors

Skills and Experience

Required:

ACA or ACCA qualified accountant (practice-trained preferred)
Strong technical accounting knowledge, including UK GAAP, FRS 102, and IFRS
Proven experience in month-end close and management accounts preparation
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
Strong communication skills and ability to engage with senior stakeholders
