Health Care Support Worker Part Time

Position: Health Care Support Worker (Permanent, Part Time)
Location:

Basildon, Essex

Hours:

* Monday–Friday: 2 hours (morning)

* Saturday: 5 hours

* School holidays:
Additional 8 hours per week

Contract:

Part-time, Permanent

Role Overview

We are recruiting a female Children’s Support Worker to support an 8-year-old boy with complex physical needs in his family home and community.

This role requires a caring, patient individual who can provide consistent, hands-on support with all aspects of daily living.

(Female applicants only – genuine occupational requirement due to personal care needs.)

Main Duties

* Full personal care: feeding, dressing, bathing, toileting

* Safe use of a hoist for all transfers

* Support with morning routines and medication

* Accompanying and supporting community outings

* Ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity at all times

* Kind, patient, and reliable

* Experience in care, complex needs, or children’s support preferred

* Willingness to learn and follow care plans

* Good communication and observation skills
