Bank Physiotherapist

Responsibilities

The post holder will have responsibility for assessing and treating their own caseload of patients and maintaining associated records. As an autonomous practitioner they will be responsible for a defined area of the service or a particular patient type, delegating as appropriate. Supervision takes the form of regular formal training and clinical reasoning sessions, peer review, caseload discussion and formal clinical supervision.

Access to advice and support from a senior therapist is available if required, clinical work is routinely evaluated. They actively participate in the weekend/bank holiday and on‑call services, assess and treat own caseload of patients as an autonomous practitioner, maintain appropriate communications and associated records working as part of the multidisciplinary team, provide quality physiotherapy treatments, demonstrate a commitment to continued development of skills and knowledge through CPD, training and involvement in the rotation scheme, and demonstrate ability to clinically supervise the practice of assistants.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Physiotherapy
• Completed placements in all core clinical areas
• Basic computer literacy
