Summary:

Working for CNH Industrial - a major manufacturer of Agricultural Vehicles and Machinery. Based out of the Basildon Manufacturing Plant.

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Logistics Manager and Warehouse Supervisor at the Basildon Plant, the Line Feeder is responsible for transporting materials throughout the facility using a buggy, while strictly adhering to all safety regulations. The role requires ensuring that materials are delivered to the production line promptly to support optimal operational efficiency.

Roles can include:

* Transport parts and materials from storage areas to designated workstations on the production line using a buggy or other approved equipment.

* Ensure deliveries are made within the required takt time to support continuous production flow.

* Verify part quantities and accuracy before delivery to avoid production delays.

* Maintain clear communication with production operators and team leaders regarding part availability and delivery schedules.

* Adhere to all safety protocols and operational procedures while driving and handling materials.

* Perform basic checks on the buggy and report any maintenance issues promptly.

* Assist with material handling and organisation in storage areas as needed.

* Support accurate inventory records by ensuring all SIGIP transactions are completed.

Requirements:

* Minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience in material control and handling, or 2+ years of production line experience with exposure to parts control and management

* Basic understanding of production line operations

* UK Driving License

* Ability to read and interpret rack locations for Kanban parts

* Strong independent prioritisation skills

* Ability to read and understand usage and picking sheets

* Collaborative team player

* Capable of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines

* Competent in inventory management

* Safety-conscious and compliant with workplace regulations
