We are seeking an Mechanical Technician to join our team and support the machining, manufacturing, and build-up of enclosures, equipment, and machinery on the factory floor.

This is a varied and hands-on role requiring machining, fitting, assembly, fault-finding, and pneumatic skills. The position also involves some travel to provide commissioning, support, and service work at customer sites worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

* Carrying out fitting and assembly work on the factory floor

* Conducting trials and tests on machinery

* Piping, testing, and fault-finding pneumatic logic circuits

* Assisting with assembly, commissioning, support, and servicing of equipment at customer sites

Mechanical Technician Skills & Attributes Required

* Strong foundation in engineering skills

* Ability to interpret equipment assembly drawings while maintaining high-quality finish and output standards

* Practical engineering experience, particularly in mechanical assembly and machining

* Ideally, exposure to pneumatics and experience with installation/commissioning at customer sites

* Good problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and proven team working skills

* Commitment to health and safety practices

* Recognised Engineering certification or apprenticeship

* Working hours:

Total weekly working hours: 37 ½ - 09:00-12:30 and 14:00-16:00

* 23 days + 2 discretionary days + Bank Holidays, 3 + discretionary to be saved for Xmas.
