The Role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and dependable individual to join our team as a Warehouse Operative. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of warehouse operations by ensuring accurate handling, storage, and dispatch of goods. The successful candidate will play a vital part in supporting supply chain activities, maintaining inventory accuracy, and upholding high standards of workplace safety.

About The Accountabilities
  • Accurately pick and pack goods to prepare orders for customer distribution.
  • Safely load and unload vehicles, following all safety guidelines.
  • Verify deliveries by checking items against accompanying paperwork to ensure accuracy.
  • Book in items promptly, meeting agreed KPIs.
  • Store goods correctly in designated locations within the Distribution Centre.
  • Carry out rework activities as required.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace at all times.
  • Follow best practices to prioritise staff safety in all tasks.
  • Keep external areas (loading bays, skips, etc.) clean and tidy consistently.
  • Ensure housekeeping standards are upheld throughout the facility.
About You - Essential
  • Must be physically fit due to the nature of work.
  • Flexibility in working shifts or varying schedules.
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately and work efficiently in a team setting.
  • Good organisational skills with a strong focus on attention to detail.
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills to complete documentation accurately.
  • Willingness to undertake manual handling tasks where required.l>
  • Commitment to maintaining safe working practices and adhering to company policies.
About You - Desirable
  • Able to demonstrate relevant experience in a similar environment.
  • Certification or experience in operating warehouse machinery such as forklifts.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems or inventory software.
