We are recruiting for an Electronics Analogue Design Engineer to be part of a team supporting our next generation Hostile Artillery Locating System development. Starting at the beginning of the engineering lifecycle you will assist with requirement and architecture definition and maturation, design new PCB level electronics to work alongside COTS modules and work with the wider project team to support integration and qualification

What you’ll do as Principal/Lead Electronics Analogue Design Engineer

• Development of hardware solutions with a mix of in-house PCBs and Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) modules
• Developing power supply and cabling solutions
• Supporting Systems Engineers develop requirements and architecture
• Supporting the integration of hardware, firmware and software
• Supporting qualification activities

What We Need From You

• Knowledge and experience of all stages of the engineering development lifecycle
• Experience of PCB level design (schematic capture)
• Experience of power supply and cabling design
• DFx knowledge specifically Design for EMC
• Integrating in-house designs with COTS modules (power supplies, single board computers, RF interfaces)
• Integration and verification of hardware systems
• Awareness of Safety, Security and other legislative constraints

It would be nice if you had

• Domain experience in low noise analogue electronics

This is not an exhaustive list, and we are keen to hear from you even if you might not have experience in all the above. The most important skill is a good attitude and willingness to learn.
