Our Energy South SSE team is growing, and we are looking for experienced Administrators to provide an efficient, accurate and effective administration support.
Responsibilities- Assist the Commercial Team with a range of commercial and efficient administration service to help control and allocates costs
- Use management information systems to effectively capture and report accurate data ensuring timelines are met
- Process and produce transparent weekly and monthly cost value reconciliation process to ensure that accurate and timely information
- Capture and allocate all relevant costs and liabilities
- Undertake business activities to ensure that information is accurate and to up to date and ensure the most cost effective use of company resources
- Identify and elevate inappropriate costs and continuously monitor which should be transferred between business streams and contract cost centres where necessary
- Capture and report direct labour payments
- Deal with situations ensuring queries and problems are resolved and escalated appropriately
- Compliance with Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental policies, procedures and standards
- Provide clear and unambiguous commercial information
- Experience working in a complex team environment
- Demonstrable experience of working in regulated administrative environment
- Commercial awareness
- Understanding of administrative process in relation to team activities
- Understanding and application of digital technology
- Highly organised
- Adaptable to change and able to comfortably deal with conflicting demands
- Comfortable with technology and at least an intermediate knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Teams, Outlook etc
- Be proactive in identifying and promptly escalating issues as necessary;
Be accountable and take personal responsibility for resolving problems;
