Infrastructure Architect - Defence sector
We are seeking a highly motivated Infrastructure Architect to join a dynamic, multi-skilled Agile team. This is a challenging and varied role where teamwork is paramount, cross-training is expected, and challenges are shared across the security, service, and management functions.
Key Responsibilities- Architectural Ownership:
Reporting directly to the CTO Lead Architect, you will own all aspects of technical proposal delivery, ensuring complete alignment with the client's strategic vision and architectural roadmap. - Stakeholder
Collaboration:
You will be the key interface between Fujitsu, senior customer stakeholders, and third-party vendors. This includes managing complex relationships, facilitating close collaboration throughout the delivery lifecycle, and controlling Requests for Change (RFCs) to protect the integrity of the overall solution. - Agile Team Integration:
Work within a collaborative Agile environment, contributing your expertise while actively engaging in cross-functional duties and collective problem-solving.
- Infrastructure Design:
Extensive knowledge of designing and implementing secure, highly resilient, and large-scale enterprise infrastructures. - VMware expertise (NSX)
- Client Engagement:
Exceptional client-facing skills at a senior level, with the ability to articulate complex technical ideas and strategies clearly to senior executives and technical audiences. - Requirements Definition:
Proven success in working directly with customers to define, elaborate, and translate high-level business needs into detailed infrastructure requirements. - Delivery & Transition:
Experience overseeing production implementations, ensuring successful project completion and smooth service transition (handover to operations). - Agile Development:
Practical experience in the development and delivery of infrastructure and software components using Agile Methodologies.
£85k+ Base ( £6k allowance + 10% DV bonus )
