Infrastructure Architect - Defence sector

We are seeking a highly motivated Infrastructure Architect to join a dynamic, multi-skilled Agile team. This is a challenging and varied role where teamwork is paramount, cross-training is expected, and challenges are shared across the security, service, and management functions.

• Architectural Ownership:
  Reporting directly to the CTO Lead Architect, you will own all aspects of technical proposal delivery, ensuring complete alignment with the client's strategic vision and architectural roadmap.

  You will be the key interface between Fujitsu, senior customer stakeholders, and third-party vendors. This includes managing complex relationships, facilitating close collaboration throughout the delivery lifecycle, and controlling Requests for Change (RFCs) to protect the integrity of the overall solution.
• Agile Team Integration:
  Work within a collaborative Agile environment, contributing your expertise while actively engaging in cross-functional duties and collective problem-solving.

• Infrastructure Design:
  Extensive knowledge of designing and implementing secure, highly resilient, and large-scale enterprise infrastructures.
• VMware expertise (NSX)
• Client Engagement:
  Exceptional client-facing skills at a senior level, with the ability to articulate complex technical ideas and strategies clearly to senior executives and technical audiences.
• Requirements Definition:
  Proven success in working directly with customers to define, elaborate, and translate high-level business needs into detailed infrastructure requirements.
• Delivery & Transition:
  Experience overseeing production implementations, ensuring successful project completion and smooth service transition (handover to operations).
• Agile Development:
  Practical experience in the development and delivery of infrastructure and software components using Agile Methodologies.

£85k+ Base ( £6k allowance + 10% DV bonus )
