We are currently looking for a Diagnostic Technician to join our established team at Snows Vauxhall Basingstoke.

As a Diagnostic Technician, you will perform a variety of workshop work in an efficient and safe manner. The aim is to meet customer requirements and maximise workshop utilisation and productivity.

Daily responsibilities include:

• Performing routine servicing of vehicles in accordance with brand technical standards.
• Undertaking air‑conditioning system servicing and repairs.
• Working in accordance with brand and dealership processes.
• Ensuring that the working environment is kept clean and devoid of any hazardous practice.
• Diagnosing and undertaking general repairs to vehicles including MOT repairs.
• Performing diagnostic investigations into vehicle electrical system faults and providing reports on faults found.
• Carrying out welding repairs to vehicles.
• Obtaining estimates and ordering car parts to resolve vehicle issues.
• Liaising with customers where appropriate, updating them on the status of their vehicle checks.

• Relevant City & Guilds, BTEC or NVQ accreditation.
• Previous work experience in a franchise dealership.
• Highly skilled in fault diagnosis.
• Ability to work as part of a team.

Monday – Friday 08:30 – 17:30 (1 hr for lunch).
