Cover Cleaner / Mobile Cleaner (With Driving Licence)

Cover Cleaner/Mobile Cleaner. Must have a clean UK Driving Licence.

Rate of Pay: £12.21 per hour.

Contract:

Permanent. Type of Employment: 25 hours per week.

Shift: Monday to Sunday (weekends and mid‑week cover shifts).

We are looking for a dedicated Cover Cleaner & Mobile Public Area Cleaning Operative to join our team. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain all cleaning public toilets, equipment and areas in a clean, well‑maintained, and safe condition, adhering to our Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

• Maintain all cleaning public toilets, equipment and areas in a clean, well‑maintained, and safe condition, adhering to SLAs.
• Understand cleaning area, optimal hours, equipment and chemicals used, and comply with Health and Safety regulations.
• Work 5 hours a day at one site, plus additional mobile cleaning at various public conveniences across Basingstoke and its surrounds.
• Ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order, meeting all agreed SLAs.

Set and flexible hours, 5–8 hour shifts. Must be flexible for day, night and weekend coverage. Availability for morning, daytime or evening shifts is essential.

• Must have a clean UK Driving Licence.
• Access to a company pool vehicle.
• Ability to communicate and read basic English.
• Previous cleaning experience desirable but not essential.
• Flexible, open, honest, self‑driven, determined, reliable, hardworking with a professional attitude.

Complete all necessary cleaning and operational training independently. Team collaboration is crucial, but you should also be comfortable working independently when needed.

Build strong, positive relationships with clients, deliver outstanding customer service and seek ways to continuously improve and exceed expectations.
