Actio Recruitment is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a leading engineering company based in Basingstoke. We are seeking a Mechanical / Visual Inspector to join their team on a day shift basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced inspector to contribute to a dynamic and quality-driven environment with future training opportunities.

• Conduct visual and mechanical inspections using manual measuring tools
• Operate CMM equipment (experience advantageous)
• Work to AS9100 standards (ideally with prior experience)
• Complete Certificates of Conformance
• Prepare and review First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs)
• Manage and document Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)
• Support problem-solving activities in line with 8D methodology

• Proven experience in manual inspection using precision measuring tools
• Knowledge of AS9100 quality standards (aerospace industry experience desirable)
• CMM operating experience is an advantage but training can be provided
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
