A highly regarded, forward-thinking GP practice in Basingstoke is seeking an enthusiastic and patient-centred Practice Nurse to join its expanding clinical team. As an established training practice
, the team is passionate about nurturing clinical development across all disciplines. This role is suitable for both experienced Practice Nurses looking to broaden their skills in a progressive setting and nurses newer to primary care who would benefit from structured supervision, mentorship and ongoing learning opportunities.
- Modern, well-equipped premises with excellent clinical facilities
- A diverse MDT including GPs, ANPs, pharmacists, paramedics, mental health practitioners and HCAs
- Strong culture of teaching, mentorship and quality improvement
- Leadership committed to wellbeing, professional growth and sustainable workloads
- A friendly, inclusive atmosphere with genuinely supportive team relationships
- Chronic disease management (e.g., asthma, COPD, diabetes)
- Treatment room work including cytology, wound care, childhood and adult vaccinations
- Health promotion, screening and patient education
- Contribution to urgent clinical needs when appropriate
- Engagement in clinical meetings, audits and service development initiatives
