Head Chef – CHG Hampshire Clinic

Location: Basingstoke

Contract: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £15 per hour

Shift Pattern: 5 out of 7 days

We're currently recruiting an ambitious Head Chef to help us create exceptional food experiences in a healthcare setting. As Head Chef, you will be responsible for delivering an outstanding culinary experience. • Prepare delicious, high-quality food that delights both clients and customers
• Identify opportunities to improve our food service offer
• Create a positive kitchen environment where your team feels welcomed and supported
• Deliver our exciting food concepts to customers
• Represent Compass Group UK&I and help maintain a strong, positive brand image
• Manage food ordering, stock control, and minimise food waste
• Oversee kitchen cleaning duties and ensure hygiene standards are maintained
• Manage budgets effectively and meet financial targets
• Comply with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Comply with Health & Safety regulations

• Experience in a similar Head Chef role
• A positive, proactive approach to leading a team
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships
• Passion for food and commitment to delivering excellence
• Initiative and confidence in making decisions that benefit customers
• Strong timekeeping and reliability
• Ability to perform well under pressure
