Trade Counter Assistant​/Driver

Join Eurocell plc as a Trade Counter Assistant / Driver.

Hours: 22 hours per week – permanent (Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8 a.m.–3 p.m.;
Saturdays 8 a.m.–12 p.m. OR Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 8 a.m.–3 p.m.; Saturdays 8 a.m.–12 p.m.)

Salary: £27,936 basic salary per year (pro rata)

Bonus/OTE: up to £31,536 per year (pro rata)

• Work closely with the Branch Manager and Supervisor in day‑to‑day operations.
• Drive trade counter sales, achieving sales targets and communicating product knowledge.
• Provide excellent customer service to new and existing customers.
• Pick, load and deliver products using Eurocell’s fleet of 3.5 tonne flatbed trucks and LWB vans.
• Plan routes, ensure safe driving, and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Support the Branch Manager with timely execution of actions and activities.
• Adhere to Health & Safety, company policies and procedures.
• Maintain branch standards, including warehouse and stock management, front‑of‑house cleanliness, and point of sale.

• Passion for customer service and business targets.
• Hands‑on, customer‑focused, confident and proactive.
• Commercial mindset to drive sales and maximise margins.
• Good organisational skills and initiative.
• IT proficiency – MS Office and industry software such as SAP.
• Full, valid driving licence (FLT licence a distinct advantage).
• Previous branch stock‑take experience (advantageous).
• Comfortable working in a small team, occasionally alone.
• Experience in a similar trade, builders' merchant, retail, glazing or uPVC environment (advantageous).
