This is a permanent, part-time position, 10hrs/week in our Basingstoke Store.
Key Responsibilities- Engage customers with a warm welcome and assist them in selecting the perfect kitchen products.
- Share your enthusiasm for our products, demonstrating their benefits and providing knowledgeable advice.
- Maintain an organised and visually appealing store environment that showcases our kitchenware effectively.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling returns and exchanges as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and foster a supportive team atmosphere.
- Start your day by preparing the store for opening and ensuring it is inviting for customers.
- Assist walk‑in customers, answering inquiries and offering personalised product recommendations.
- Participate in product demonstrations and promotions that highlight our best offerings.
- Engage in staff meetings to share insights, discuss goals, and build camaraderie within the team.
- End your shift by ensuring the store remains well‑stocked and ready for the next day.
Passion for providing exceptional customer service and making connections with customers.
Qualifications- Previous experience in retail or customer service is required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively share product knowledge.
- A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
- Detail‑oriented with a keen eye for store presentation.
- Comfortable using POS systems and technology.
- Flexible to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
