Salary: £28,423.81 with a £1,872 night allowance. Shift: Monday‑Friday, 10:00 pm‑06:30 am.

As a Warehouse Night shift General Operative, you will perform a variety of warehouse duties to support our night shift operations for our key Howdens contract. You will receive, pick, put away, replenish, and dispatch items in an efficient, safe, and timely manner. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will ensure all equipment checks are carried out in accordance with procedures and raise any defects to your line manager.

• Previous experience of working in a warehouse environment
• A desire to continuously look to improve processes and procedures to improve efficiency
• Understand the value of attaining the highest levels of customer service
• Awareness of manual handling techniques
• Compliance with all Health & Safety legislation
• Commitment to working the night shift pattern
• Minimum level of education, GCSEs (or equivalent) and good understanding of written and verbal English
• Literate and numerate
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Attention to detail
