Principle Engineer Unit Process Engineering
As a Unit Process expert, you're responsible to achieve robust and stable processes.
Your RoleKey responsibilities in your new role:
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives in Yield, driving strategic actions to enhance overall performance.
- Champion the 8D methodology to ensure systematic problem-solving and drive quality excellence.
- Develop and implement improvement plans to optimize Quality and Stability Index metrics.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers to enhance their technical expertise and problem-solving skills, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Oversee process specifications and standard operating procedures, ensuring compliance and adherence to industry standards.
- Serve as a technical expert on the Change Management team, supporting the qualification of new materials, processes, and methods.
- Collaborate with cross-site teams to share best practices, address process-related challenges, and drive knowledge sharing.
Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Microelectronics, Mechatronics, or Semiconductor Technology.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Assembly Process Engineering or Semiconductor Assembly Manufacturing, preferred in manager or technical lead team position.
- Proficient in systematic problem-solving methodologies, including 8D, DMAIC, Process Mapping, FTA, and Fishbone analysis.
- Strong understanding of quality management principles and practices, with a focus on continuous improvement and performance optimization.
- Proven ability to anticipate and resolve complex issues quickly, with a focus on root cause analysis and corrective action.
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment, with expertise in process optimization and control.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on continuous improvement and process optimization.
