SENIOR MANAGER – ENGINEERING / MOLDING

We are the SWISS COMPANY specialized in electronics manufacturing & injection molding in Batam.

• Lead and drive an engineering team to identify, develop and deliver innovative solutions, driven to constantly improve process capability and production volume while maintaining and improving quality standards.
• Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
• Analyze technology, resources needs to plan and assess feasibility of projects.
• Plan for all equipment and ensure section provides vital services to production availability and efficient operating conditions.
• Recruit employees; assign, direct, and evaluate their work; and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.
• Provide technical support to all other departments in relation to identifying, analyzing and determining the best materials and methods for the manufacturing of a product.
• Write operating standards and procedures for the engineering and technical work performed in the department.
• Perform administrative functions such as reviewing and writing reports, enforcing rules and provide feedback on decisions about the purchase of materials or services to management.
• Receive and liaise with customer on specification and information to meet needs and expectations of customer and ensure that product changes are efficiently introduced and that all related documents and departments are updated accordingly.
• Developing, modifying and improving new and existing product design to improve yield, quality, manufacturability and cost saving.

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Engineering / Technical / Relevant field.
• Minimum of 5 (Five) years engineering Experience in a global environment / the same field & preferred in Plastic Injection Molding.
• Strong leadership, verbal & written communication and presentation skills.
• Find solutions and services that meet or predict customers future needs, work independently, self running.
