Engineering Manager plan, coordinate and oversee the technical and engineering activities of the organization. Responsible for planning engineering projects and overseeing the efficient running of projects, including providing supervision and guidance to other engineers.
Incumbent responsible in plan and coordinate the production activities related maintenance, power station and electricity, utilities, water supply in such a way that manufacturing operations can run undisturbed and sustainable way.
Spare part management and Boiler operation
- Plan, control, and monitor the execution of engineering support activities for production functions to ensure that the needed support is provided according to the needs and company budget.
- Plan, control, and monitor implementation of maintenance and repair of utilities (boiler, electricity and water) in production functions to ensure that production operations can run undisturbed and sustainable way
- Oversee and manage boiler operation.
- Plan, control and monitor the spare part usage.
- Evaluate and analyse Engineering activities, capabilities, performance and budget, take preventive and corrective actions in maintenance planning and activities where needed, develop and implement optimisations and innovations.
- Ensure right organization, capacity, capabilities and motivation in production support organisation and compliance to local regulations and functional policies.
- Drives together with Production managers the identification of improvement opportunities, prioritises them based on impact on production plan and ensures development of action plans and their implementation.
- To effectively represent customer (production) needs in Engineering projects, ensuring requirements/ acceptance criteria are fully understood and project budget control.
- Ensuring EH&S policies and procedures are adhered to within Engineering Team.
- Maintenance Tasks and Technical Solutions for All Utilities.
- Ensure key site wide performance and quality issues are identified, targeted, and systematically reduced or eliminated so as to improve factory performance and reduce waste.
- Manage and ensure performance of engineering team members.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical management
- Experience minimum 5 years in Managerial position of maintenance / Engineering department for customer goods industries, advantage from Printing manufacturing
- Fully understanding on technical side of production operations
- Strong leadership and managerial skills
- Analytical and problem‑solving abilities
