Our facility in Batam, Indonesia specializes in the production of lighting and detection product technologies, including our specialty lamps for industrial and photonics applications, IPL lamps and trigger coils, as well as Infra‑Red Detectors (IRD), sensor modules and pyroelectric ceramic wafers. Operating since September 1994, this site also manufactures Thermopile Sensors (TPS), Thermopile Modules (TPM), CCD sensors and printed circuit board assemblies.

Key responsibilities:
  • Monitor and drive improvement of production yield using statistical techniques (e.g., SPC).
  • Support troubleshooting of process‑related issues through structured problem‑solving.
  • Develop and optimize processes for the introduction of new products (NPI).
  • Qualify new or relocated equipment, new materials, or new processes used in manufacturing.
  • Analyze and provide comprehensive evaluation or qualification reports.
  • Create, implement, and maintain product and process documentation (e.g., WI, SOP, FMEA).
  • Evaluate and certify production operators to ensure competency in process execution.
  • Provide technical advice on material suitability and process compatibility.
  • Initiate and lead continuous improvement projects to eliminate waste and resolve chronic process issues (e.g., using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies).
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (e.g., Equipment, Quality, Production) to support manufacturing and process‑related projects.
  • Comply with procedures related to quality, environment, health, and safety management systems in respective area in charge.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing industry in a relevant role.
  • Familiarity with statistical techniques and sound understanding of process control and process capability measurement techniques.
  • Familiar with problem‑solving tools (QC Tools, 5

    Whys, Fishbone, 8D).
  • Experience in the semiconductor industry is an added advantage.
  • Certified / trained Six Sigma Green Belt is an added advantage.
  • Good communication skills and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English communication.
