Production Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to join our dynamic manufacturing team at PT Interpak Industries Batam. As a Production Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of our production facility in Batam Kota, Riau Islands. This is a full‑time position that requires hands‑on leadership and a keen eye for detail to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of our products.

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of production teams to meet established targets and deadlines
• Monitor production processes and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality
• Identify and resolve any operational issues or bottlenecks in a timely manner
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
• Provide on‑the‑job training and mentorship to production staff to develop their skills and capabilities
• Collaborate with other departments, such as planning and quality control, to optimise production workflows
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to production activities

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar production supervisory role within the manufacturing industry
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
• Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement
• Proficient in interpreting production data, creating reports and making data‑driven decisions
• Thorough understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety protocols
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with cross‑functional teams
• Flexibility to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
