The Planner role reports to the Planning Manager.

• Planning (PPIC) and Order Administration
• Meet CRD & VCD
• New order enquiry against materials plan
• Planned and reviewed materials for customer orders
• Materials planned for custom design
• Forecast for long lead-time materials
• Materials plan per consumption of standard part
• In-house cable planning and coordination

• Planned and reviewed materials for customer orders
• Manage daily and long range planning / scheduling and support commercial
• Expedite materials through purchasing
• Alternate source plan for urgent orders and cost saving
• Materials shipment to respective production sites
• Job orders proceed, amended
• Production sites schedule on time delivery and customer order are fulfilled
• Co-ordinate FG rejects replacement to all production sites
• Converting non-moving and obsolete items to active parts
• Inventory is controlled within target and buffer stocks is maintained
• BPCS system utilization and MRP flow
• Follow up on DRP/ MRS/ MRP work flow by facility, planner code maintenance and minimum stocks maintenance
• Load Customer Forecast into Volex System

• Diploma or University Degree in Industrial, Electrical Engineering, Data Analytics, Business Administration
• At least 2-3 years of relevant working experience
• Familiarity and experience with electrical/electronic components, wire harness, etc. would be a plus.
• Planning mindset, and multitasking
• Proficiency in Excel, MS Office, and or other systems (e.g. pivot tables, vlookup formula)
• Communication with Batam Office, Singapore and Asia offices via e-mails and calls.
• Clear communication in good Bahasa and English fluency.
