QA Engineer, Software

Responsibilities

• Design and execute comprehensive software test plans and test cases.
• Create detailed, well-structured test documentation.
• Evaluate and improve product quality to enhance user satisfaction.
• Develop and implement testing processes for both new and existing products.
• Plan, prioritize, and coordinate testing activities.
• Contribute to bug resolution and fixes.
• Create incident reports and post‑mortem analyses.
• Conduct thorough regression testing after bug fixes.
• Track and document bugs through resolution.
• Propose solutions for identified product issues.
• Design and implement test automation scripts.
• Maintain automated tests within the CI/CD pipeline.
• Generate reports on testing progress and quality metrics.
• Work closely with the development team to ensure consistent delivery.
• Identify and propose improvements for quality assurance bottlenecks.
• Participate in on‑call rotation for weekend support when required.

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Proficient in both manual and automated testing methodologies.
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies (functional, regression, performance, etc.).
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Experience with testing across multiple platforms: web applications, mobile applications (iOS/Android), API testing, backend services, and frontend interfaces.
• Experience with AI‑powered test automation tools, Bug Bug, Katalon Studio, or similar platforms.
• Experience with Playwright for end‑to‑end testing.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
• Experience with programming language and server‑side frameworks like C#, ASP.NET MVC/Core.
• Experience with React and Next.js testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress).
• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
• Experience with database design and scripting, including SQL databases (SQL Server, Postgre
