About the LPN Licensed Practical Nurse Supervisor Role:
As an LPN Licensed Practical Nurse Supervisor, you will play a vital role in overseeing our nursing team and ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising a team of LPNs and certified nursing assistants (CNAs) to ensure that our high standards of care are met
- Assisting with the development and implementation of patient care plans
- Coordinating care with other members of the healthcare team, including physicians and therapists
- Monitoring patient progress and making adjustments to care plans as needed
- Maintaining accurate records and reports
- Participating in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and reduce readmissions
LPN Licensed Practical Nurse Supervisor Requirements:
- Current LPN license in the state of New York
- Prior experience as an LPN, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records (EMRs)
